This PVR is in good condition however the remote is no longer working but is included. I have used it with a programmable remote (Logitech Harmony 300) which is NOT included with the sale. You can purchase learning remotes from around $6 on Australialisted and I would be willing to program it from my remote or a Logitech Harmony 300 remote is about $30-$40 and will automatically setup to this recorder by downloading the settings from Logitech.
One of the few recorders that allow for analog input recording from another device (apparantly enables you to record Foxtel etc.) Or connect to an older video recorder or video camera to record to file.
Plays AVI, MKV files etc.
Protective plastic is still on front face of unit, as such it should be very good condition if you wanted to remove the plastic.
